GLOBE's popularity has grown immensely over the years since it opened, and our waiting list grows as our enrollment grows. We typically have between 500 and 700 students on a waitlist for our lower grades. And as we've moved up through the middle school, we typically have approximately 150 students on our middle school waitlist as well
DLI is for Dual Language Immersion. And one of the things that we're known for is really contributing to best practices, not just in Georgia but throughout the nation. So many of our teachers have presented at Dual Language Immersion conferences all throughout the United States. We'll have students even from universities nearby that are shadowing with us, but then we've also had students from abroad so all over China, France, all over Latin America, that have come and studied best practices with our teachers. GLOBE has consistently maintained a 90 or above CCRPI score. So right now we have a 90.2 that is 20 points above DeKalb County and then 15 points above the state. A CCRPI score is a way that public schools are evaluated, so the way that that's determined is by test scores, student evaluations, surveys for parents, surveys for teachers, and it includes all aspects of the school.
